Enable Custom Products

Navigate over to the products page and view the table of products.

Find the product you wish to make custom, and click the purple 'Standard Assets' button located at the end of the row.

This will now mark the product as custom, so when an order is created containing this product, we first send the customer a 'Preparing Asset' email, and allow you to upload a custom asset to the product for that order once the asset has been created.

You can also upload other assets to this product, so when you send the custom download email to the customer once the custom asset is uploaded. The customer will download not only the custom asset but all other assets for that product.

This feature is not available on the Starter plan.

Disable Custom Products

Navigate over to the products page and view the table of products.

Find the product you wish to make custom, and click the green 'Custom Assets' button located at the end of the row.

This will now mark the product as standard, so when an order is created containing this product, a download link is sent out to the customer allowing them to download the assets for it.

Previous custom assets and download links can still be downloaded by the customer as these were created before changing the custom product to standard.

This feature is not available on the Starter plan.

Viewing Orders

Navigate over to the orders page and view the table of orders.

Orders Limits

Navigate over to the orders page and view the table of orders.

Clicking on the orange limit tag will allow you to set a new limit. The limit set here will over ride any limit set on the asset itself. This way for a specific order you can set a higher limit for the asset than any other order.

Please note, if you want the order to go back to using the parent asset limit set at product level, simply set the limit to 0.

Custom Orders & Asset Uploading

Navigate over to the orders page and view the table of orders.

If you have any orders that contain custom products, the order will show a green custom 'Yes' and a red 'Custom Order Pending' status.

To upload your custom asset, simple click the red 'Custom Order Pending' tag to enter into the custom order page.

This page will show you some of the order information, and have a new multiple asset uploaded and asset table. Simply drag the custom assets onto the upload and the table will refresh.

From here, you can apply limits to the custom assets, download, and delete them.

Once happy and assets have been uploaded, a new green button in the top right hand corner of the page will show 'Send Download Email'. Click this button to send the email to the custom containing the download link. You can resend this email as many times as you wish should you update, add, or delete more custom assets.

Now that the email has been sent, you will be taken back to the orders page where you will see the custom order is now fulfilled and the email status has changed to sent. At any point you can still click on the status tag 'Custom Order Fulfilled' to adjust assets, limits, and send the email again.

Email Designing

Head over to the email designer page to customise the emails.

From here you can customise the body and signature of the email, the button, the general stying, and the mail settings such as subject and sent from address.

Within the body and signature, you can add in variables to pull through the product title, variant title, and shop name (set within the general email settings). This helps you tailor the email specifically for the customer.

Product Title {{product_title}}
Shop / From Name {{shop_name}}
From Address {{from_address}}

You have full control over the layout and button. Use different languages, colours, logo, and background colour to match your brand.

Once happy, you can hit the green save button.

If you are on the Business or Extended plan and use the Custom products feature, then you can also customise the email we send to the customer upon placing the order. This is the 'Preparing Email' letting them know the asset/s is being created for them.

Alternatively, you may choose for this first 'Preparing Email' not to be sent. That can be switched off within the General settings for the Email Designer.

You can also send yourself a test email to check everything looks good using the 'Send Test Email' button. If you’re on the Business or Extended plan allowing custom preparing emails, then this too will be sent as a test at the same time.

Settings & Public Download App Block

Head over to the settings page..

You can now set your site domain which we will use on the download link in the email sent to the customer. This way when they click that link they are taken to your store to download the file.

For the download to be successful we need you to enable the Public Downloader App Block.

Step by step instructions can be found on the settings page.

Asset Library

Head over to the Asset Library page.

Here you can upload as many assets as you wish, and then click the copy link icon button in purple at the end of each row to link to from anywhere you like.

You can activate and deactivate assets, download, delete, and copy the asset link all from the same row.

Any asset uploaded here cannot be used for products or orders, they need to be uploaded specifically for the product or custom order in question.

Bulk CSV Upload & Assign

Head over to the Bulk Asset Uploader page.

Here you can upload as all your assets in one go, and then export a prebuilt CSV template.

Once the CSV has downloaded, simply add in the SKU of the product you wish to assign the asset too within the CSV sheet. You can also change the limit and active status viua the CSV if required.

Once you have completed your CSV sheet, simply hit the import button within step 3 and choose the CSV sheet to import. This will then assign each asset with the product defined in the CSV sheet.

Now review the asset table and make sure the correct product has been assigned, and if happy, you can hit Complete Import on step 4. This will then move all the assigned assets into the system and remove them from the bulk asset table. Any asset that wasnt assigned will remain in the bulk table.

Upgrading / Downgrading

Within the cog icon in the top right hand corner of the app sits an option called Subscriptions which shows your current plan and all other available plans.

If you are wanting to downgrade, keep in mind your current limits will become active again which may prevent you from uploading any more assets.
